No, not really. You could be using one of many different POP/IMAP
servers. Ah, you mentioned courier-imap. There's your issue.
You won't need this list (and you won't have as much fun with postfix)
until you reach the point of wanting to open it up to the world. But
take your time and don't rush into that.
In my experience there are always many problems when you're trying to
support Microsoft Outlook Express. Some of its bugs are very subtle.
Things will go much better if you throw it away. I know some MS Windows
users who migrated to Mozilla Thunderbird, and they are very happy with
it. (As a side benefit, the migration was painless.)
