Roy S. Rapoport wrote: I think the purpose of the original requester has been fulfilled -- we've mentioned djbdns, and he can probably figure out for himself whether or notit's appropriate. FWIW djbdns is a pretty reliable dns server. It has a simple format (once you get the hang of it), is very secure and works well. I personally tend to hate "most" DJB software (a MTA comes to mind), but once you understand djbdns, setting it up takes less than 10 minutes. Even though I'm still against his idea of putting programs in /. Checkout www.lifewithdjbdns.org for more info. I gave up on bind due to complexities of securing it, ever changing format for each revision and memory footprint. End rant. -An incredibly hung over and nauseous "After the New Year Party" Bruno
